The performance will last 1 hour and 50 minutes.
There will be one interval.
The production was staged by The Cullberg Ballet in 1982.
On 22 March 2009 the ballet entered the repertoire of the Ballet de l’Opéra de Lyon.
* The performance features a recording of Adam’s Giselle by the Opéra de Monte-Carlo under Richard Bonynge on the Decca label. Mats Ek preferred a recording to a live performance in order to retain the every small nuance of the rhythmical sketch on which he founded his choreography in this ballet. The use of recorded music thus allows the dancers to work at the same tempo every time.
