Anastasia Snyatkovskaya

Mezzo-soprano

Anastasia Snyatkovskaya was born in a family with generations of opera singers and people involved in the arts. Studied singing under the tutelage of her grandmother Olga Bocharova.
Graduated with distinction from the Meddle Special School of Music of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire. Subsequently studied vocals at the Galina Vishnevskaya Opera Centre in Moscow.

Has performed at the St Petersburg Academic Shostakovich Philharmonic and the State Academic Glinka Cappella. Frequently appears at State gala events, international forums, congresses and festivals.

The singer’s repertoire includes roles in Russian and European operas such as Eboli (Don Carlo), Azucena (Il trovatore), Dalila (Samson et Dalila), Santuzza (Il cavalliere rusticana), Orfeo (Orfeo ed Euridice), Lyubasha (The Tsar’s Bride), Lyubava (Sadko), Carmen (Carmen) and Marfa (Khovanshchina).

Anastasia Snyatkovskaya’s repertoire also includes songs and romances by Russian and European composers as well as individual arias and ensemble scenes from operas.
