Mlada Khudoley was born in Moscow. In 1996 she graduated from the opera faculty of the Russian Academy of Theatre Art (classes of Tatiana Sukhanova and Leila Dzhparadze). Trained in Vienna under Professor Ingeborg Wamser (1996).
Since 1998 Mlada Khudoley has been a Mariinsky Theatre soloist.

The singer’s concert repertoire includes the soprano roles in Stravinsky’s Les Noces, Mahler’s Eighth Symphony, Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony and Verdi’s Requiem.
Mlada Khudoley works with such outstanding conductors of the present day as Valery Gergiev, Seiji Ozawa, Heinz Fricke, Lawrence Foster, Semyon Bychkov, Antonello Allemandi, Gianandrea Noseda, Pavel Kogan, Alexander Rudin, Gabriele Ferro, Marco Boemi and Pier Giorgio Morandi, singers including Plácido Domingo, Larisa Diadkova, Anna Netrebko, Elīna Garanča, Vladimir Galuzin, Matti Salminen, Bernd Weikl, Kurt Rydl, Linda Watson, Michelle DeYoung, Bryn Terfel, Stephen Gould, Judith Forst, Vasily Gerello, Gerald Finley, Andrea Silvestrelli, Mark Rucker, Wolfgang Brendel and Yevgeny Nikitin and such stage directors as Robert Carsen, Jonathan Kent, Francesca Zambello, Julia Pevzner, David Freeman, Peter Konwitschny, Gottfried Pilz, Dmitry Bertman, Dmitry Chernyakov, Yuri Alexandrov and Arnaud Bernard.
In 2001 Mlada Khudoley was named “Singer of the Year” by the St Petersburg Theatre Society for her performance of the role of Sieglinde (Die Walküre) opposite Plácido Domingo. In October the same year she performed the role of Abigaille with the Teatr Wielki Opera at a festival in Beijing (the historic first performance of the opera Nabucco in China).
In 2003 she performed the role of Senta (Der Fliegende Holländer) at the Los Angeles Opera and the role of Sieglinde (Die Walküre) at the Washington Opera. In 2004 she sang the roles of Senta at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo and Donna Anna (Don Giovanni) in Lisbon with the Gulbenkian Centre Orchestra, where she returned in 2006 for a concert performance of Salome.
In 2005 she made her debut in St Gallen (Switzerland) as Norma (Norma). In 2006 she performed the role of Liza (The Queen of Spades, production by Francesca Zambello) at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden.
In spring 2006 she made her debut as Manon (Manon Lescaut) at the Israeli Opera (Tel Aviv).
In 2007 with the Tokyo Opera Nomori festival orchestra she performed the role of Elisabeth (Tannhäuser, production by Robert Carsen) under the baton of Seiji Ozawa. In the summer of 2007 she sang the role of Santuzza (Cavalleria rusticana) at the Theater St Gallen. In the autumn of 2007 at the Greek National Opera (Athens) she performed the role of Abigaille in Nabucco.
In 2008 she opened the season at the Minnesota Opera, where she performed the role of Leonora in Il trovatore at the Ordway Center at Saint Paul (one of the Minnesota Opera’s venues). She subsequently returned there for the role of Salome in April 2010. In 2009 she performed the roles of Abigaille (Nabucco) at the Graz Opera and Senta (Der Fliegende Holländer) at the Leipzig Opera.
In the autumn of 2009 together with Bryn Terfel she took part in a concert performance of the opera Die Walküre under the baton of Valery Gergiev at the Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
In December 2009 she featured in a recording of Stravinsky’s Les Noces under Valery Gergiev for the Mariinsky label and performed the role of Abigaille (Nabucco) at the Teatr Wielki in Warsaw.
In 2010 she made her debut as Senta (Der Fliegende Holländer) at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein and performed the role of Aida (Aida) at the XXVIII International Fyodor Chaliapin Opera Festival in Kazan. The same year she performed the role of Abigaille (Nabucco) at the Royal Danish Opera (Copenhagen).
In 2011 she made her debut as Katerina (Lady Macbeth of Mtsensk) at the Graz Opera.
