We invite you to the press conference of Valery Gergiev, Artistic & General Director of the Mariinsky Theatre, and Martin Engstroem, Founder & Executive Director of the Verbier Festival (Switzerland), which is scheduled for 12:00 am on 13 June. The press conference is dedicated to 25-year anniversary of the Verbier Festival.

Valery Gergiev and Martin Engstroem will unveil the programme for this year’s Verbier Festival in Switzerland, which will run from 19 July to 5 August. Valery Gergiev is the Festival’s Orchestra Music Director this year. Over 18 days, the Festival will host 59 concerts featuring performances of 88 famed musicians of today from all around the world and more than 270 young talents.

The Verbier Festival is one of the most famous classical music festivals in the world. Its programme includes concerts, meet-and-greets, workshops, and exchanges between renowned musicians and young rising stars from different parts of the world. The Festival has been held since 1994. It invariably demonstrates the supreme level of performance mastery and the quality of educational programmes for musicians.

The press conference is to be held at the Rossiyskaya Gazeta Media Center.
