About the performers

Gherman Skripachov
Gherman Skripachov was born in 1999 in St Petersburg. At the age of seven he began to study the piano. In 2010 he entered the Middle Special School of Music of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Zora Zucker).
In 2011 he won 1st prize at the St Petersburg Christmas Ensembles international young pianists’ competition. In 2012 he appeared at the Lesser Hall of the St Petersburg Philharmonic with the State Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Nikolai Kornev.
In 2012 and 2014 he gave recitals in Germany. In 2012 he took part in a tour to Switzerland with the Middle Special School of Music of the St Petersburg Conservatoire.
In April 2013 he won the Moscow Neuhaus Festival of Young Pianists and, as a winner of the festival, performed at the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatoire, the Theatre and Concert Centre of Pavel Slobodkin and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
In spring 2013 he took the grand-prix at the XIII International Piano Competition at the Scriabin Conservatoire in Paris. In 2013 and 2014 he took part in the Kissinger Sommer festival.
In 2014 he gave recitals in Novgorod, Syktyvkar and Cherepovets. In autumn the same year he appeared with the Chamber Orchestra of the St Petersburg Conservatoire under Arkady Steinlucht at the Small Hall of the St Petersburg Philharmonic.


Yeva Skripachova
Yeva Skripachova was born in St Petersburg in 2004. At the age of five she began to study music, and in 2011 she entered the Middle Special School of Music of the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire (class of Zora Tsuker). In 2011 she won 1st prize at the international young pianists’ competition St Petersburg Christmas Ensembles. In 2012 she took part in a concert of the class of Zora Tsuker at the Small Hall of the St Petersburg Philharmonic. In 2013 she won 1st prize at the international young pianists’ competition St Petersburg Spring and the International Competition in Paris. In 2013 she took part in the concert project Lions Club Kempten Buchenberg in Germany. In 2014 she appeared in Novgorod and Syktyvkar.
