The Mariinsky Theatre is closed to visitors until 30 April 2020 on the basis of a Decree of the President of the Russian Federation "On the safeguarding of the health and sanitary welfare of the population within the territory of the Russian Federation due to the spread of the Coronavirus infection (COVID-19)" No 239 dated 02 April 2020, and directives based on the Russian Ministry of Culture "On the activities of organisations within its remit regarding the threat of the spread of the new Coronavirus infection (2019-nCoV) within the territory of the Russian Federation", as stated by the Government of thr City of St Petersburg dated 13 March 2020, No 121 "On measures to prevent the spread the new Coronavirus (COVID-19) in St Petersburg.
Performances and concerts scheduled for the period between 18 to 30 April 2020 have been postponed to later dates in accordance with the schedule for the current and following seasons performance schedule.
Tickets for rescheduled performances and concerts remain valid, and need not be returned.
