The XXVII Stars of the White Nights festival opens at all the venues of the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg on 22 May.

The festival will kick off with two concert programmes: a performance of the young talented pianist Alexandra Dovgan and the Mariinsky Orchestra under the baton of Valery Gergiev at the Concert Hall (18.00) and a recital of the famed French pianist Lucas Debargue, a prize-winner at the XV International Tchaikovsky Competition, at the Mariinsky II (21.00).

Due to a great volume of requests from spectators who want to attend both events held in different buildings, the Mariinsky Theatre offers a mini-subscription which includes both concert programmes of the evening and also a number of benefits to make the change of venues convenient for the spectators. The benefits include: a separate entrance into the Mariinsky II, priority access to cloakrooms of the Concert Hall and the Mariinsky II, and a glass of champagne to celebrate the opening of the festival.
