19 January will see several key debuts in Modest Musorgsky’s opera Boris Godunov under the baton of Valery Gergiev in addition to an appearance by Olga Borodina in the role of Marina Mnishek

February 2012 will see the release of a new disc on the Mariinsky label featuring Denis Matsuev

The National Youth Orchestra of the United States of America is currently being established and its first conductor will be Valery Gergiev
