Born in Leningrad.
Graduated from the Leningrad Academic Vaganova School of Dance in 1962 (class of Nina Belikova). From 1962-1985 at the Leningrad Kirov Theatre of Opera and Ballet she performed in productions of Don Quixote (Mercedes, Street Dancer, Flower-Seller), The Fountain of Bakhchisarai (Zarema), Swan Lake (Friends of the Prince), The Sleeping Beauty (Silver Fairy, Frolicsome Fairy, Courage Fairy), Chopiniana (Eleventh Waltz), The Bronze Horseman (Queen of the Ball), Cinderella (Ethiopian Princess, Autumn Fairy, Winter Fairy), Hamlet (Gertrude), The Creation of the World (She-Devil) and Asiyat (the Lezghinka) among others.
From В 1966-1968 she appeared in programmes by the Chamber Ballet Company.
From 1985-2010 she taught classical dance at the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet.
Since 1999 she has been a teacher and coach with the Mariinsky Ballet, working with soloists.

Died at the age of seventy-four on 18 June 2018.
