Dina Zikeyeva was born in Kazan. In 1992 she graduated from the Middle Special School of Music of the Kazan Conservatory (class of Yulia Vivat) and from the Kazan Conservatory in 1997 (class of Vadim Afanasiev).
From 1995 she worked at the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan. From 2000 she appeared with the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of Russia, performing with that orchestra's ensemble of soloists.
Joined the Mariinsky Orchestra in 2009.
In 2010 she and some of her colleagues founded Peter's Quartet, which two years later won the Grand Prix at the Wiener Klassik competition.
At the Mariinsky Theatre she performs orchestral solos in various productions, appears on tour and records on the Mariinsky label, in addition to appearing as a soloist with chamber ensembles.
