Till Hoffmann was born in Freiburg (Germany) in 1996. He began playing piano at the age of six. In 2005, Hoffmann was enrolled in the preparatory class of the State University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart. Since 2015 he has been a student of the Karlsruhe University of Music (under Kaya Han).
Hoffman is a laureate of the non-profit organization Lions Clubs International Cultural Award (2012) and of the National Bach Competition for Young Pianists in Köthen (1st prize, 2013).
He has also won multiple awards at the German National Competition for Young People Making Music, and in 2014 he took the first prize. The same year he received a scholarship from Werner Haas Foundation. In July 2015, Hoffman won the grand prix and many other awards at the International Münchner Klavierpodium Competition.
