Elena Ledzhinova studied at the Middle Special School of Music of the St Petersburg Conservatory, class of Lyubov Rudova. In 1994 she graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory, class of Professor Tatiana Kravchenko, People's Artist of Russia, and as a post-graduate student she was an assistant (also in the class of Professor Tatiana Kravchenko). After graduating from the conservatory she was a soloist with the Petersburg-Concert chamber philharmonic.
From 2002 to 2006 she worked as a senior teacher at the Music and Pedagogical Institute of the Vaganova Academy of Russian Ballet, and from 2006 to 2009 she taught at the Zhejiang Institute of Arts (China). She currently works as an accompanist at the St Petersburg Conservatory: from 2009 in the class of Professor Nadezhda Drozdova-Vainer, People's Artist of Russia, and since 2011 in the violin class of Professor Anna Laukhina.
Elena Ledzhinova has been a prize-winner at numerous international competitions, among them the IX International Competition Academy-2018 ("Chamber ensemble" nomination), the VIII International Competition Academy-2017 ("Best accompanist" nomination), the Karamanov International Competition ("Piano solo" nomination, Moscow, 2016), and the International Chamber Ensemble Competition in Barcelona.
