Gleb Logvinov


Percussion

Gleb Logvinov graduated from St. Petersburg Conservatoire (2012) where he studied under Valery Znamensky. Since 2013 he has been member of the Mariinsky Orchestra. He performs different orchestral percussion parts including those in the challenging score of Benjamin Britten’s Turn of the Screw. He is also member of the Renaissance Percussion ensemble (marimba, vibraphone, xylophone) for which he creates arrangements.

He participated in numerous music festivals including Sound Ways (2006) and Percussion for the Maslenitsa (2014). As a member of different ensembles he frequently performs in the Mariinsky theatre subscription concerts and in the early 2017 in the interactive lesson We are an Orchestra.
