Born in Leningrad in 1971, she graduated in 1990 from the Rimsky-Korsakov Music College (class of Yuri Levin) and in 1995 from St Petersburg Conservatory (class of Gleb Nikitin) where she later completed her postgraduate studies.
Prize-winner at the All-Russian Wind Players Competition (1995).
In 1993 toured USA and Russia as member of the American Russian Young Artists Orchestra.
From 1993 to 1996 she was member of the St Petersburg State Academic Capella Orchestra and since 1996 has been Assistant Solo Flute of the Mariinsky Orchestra.
