Vladimir Feliauer graduated from the St Petersburg State Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatoire where he also completed his post-graduate studies (class of Professor Nikolai Okhotnikov, People’s Artist of the USSR). In 2006 he joined the St Petersburg Chamber Opera Company. In the 2010-2011 season he became a Mariinsky Theatre soloist.

The singer’s repertoire also includes the roles of Gremin (Eugene Onegin), Pimen (Boris Godunov), Mendoza (Betrothal in a Monastery), Colline (La bohème), Raimondo Bidebent (Lucia di Lammermoor), Sparafucile, Count Monterone (Rigoletto), Dr Grenville (La traviata), Simone (Gianni Schicchi), Peter I (Il falegname di Livonia, ossia Pietro il grande, Kzar delle Russie) and the bass roles in Mozart’s Requiem and Bach’s Matthäus-Passion.
In 2011 he appeared in performances of Mahler’s Eighth Symphony in Ljubljana and Zagreb (conductor – Valery Gergiev). In the 2011–2012 season, together with the Mariinsky Opera Company the singer toured to Rotterdam, London, Cardiff and Birmingham.
