Rushan Shaibekov


Tenor

Rushan Shaibekov was born in Fergana (Uzbekistan). In 2008 he graduated from the Kazan State University of Culture and Arts and began to work at the Tatar Musa Jalil State Theatre of Opera and Ballet.

Frequently collaborates with the State Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Tatarstan under the baton of Alexander Sladkovsky. In 2014 he appeared with the orchestra in a performance of Zulfia Raupova’s opera Aq bure and in 2015 he took part in the premiere performance of Shamil Timerbulatov’s oratorio Bulgarian Tales at the Salikh Saidashev Grand Concert Hall in Kazan.

In 2014 he performed the role of Tybalt in the opera Roméo et Juliette (soloists of the Opera Studio and the Symphony Orchestra of the Kazan Conservatoire under Leo Kremer) at the Salikh Saidashev Grand Concert Hall, as well as the tenor role in Mass No 3 by Bruckner (the Kazan Conservatoire Chorus and Symphony Orchestra under Leo Kremer) at the Historisches Museum der Pfalz in Speyer (Germany).

In 2015 he performed the tenor role in Haydn’s Theresienmesse with the New Music chamber orchestra and the State Chamber Chorus of the Republic of Tatarstan under Anna Gulishambarova.
