Viktor Aleshkov has been a soloist with the St Petersburg Chamber Opera Company since 1993. Since 2003 he has been a guest soloist with the National Theatre of Opera and Ballet of Lithuania.
His repertoire includes: Lensky (Eugene Onegin), Gherman (The Queen of Spades), Vthe Pretender and Shuisky (Boris Godunov), the Duke (Rigoletto), Riccardo (Un ballo in maschera), Calàf (Turandot), José (Carmen), Boris (Káťa Kabanová). In 2004 he was awarded the title of “Best Singer of the Year”. In 2010 he performed the roles of Agrippa and Mephistopheles (The Fiery Angel) at Vienna’s Theaterverein Odeon.

At the Mariinsky Theatre he performs the roles of Hoffmann (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) and Count Hauk-Šendorf (The Makropulos Affair).
