Ruben Muradyan


Born in Yerevan.
• Prize-winner at Yuri Grigorovich’s second international competition Young Ballet of the World (2nd prize, Sochi, 2008).
• Recipient of the 3rd prize at the International Dance Festival in Brazil (2007)

Graduated from the Yerevan State College of Dance in 2007.
From 2006-2010 he trained at the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema.
Since 2003 he has been a soloist with the ballet company of the Armenian Academic Spendiarian Opera and Ballet Theatre.
In 2010 he toured to Washington with the Bolshoi Ballet, performing the role of Spartacus in Aram Khachaturian’s ballet Spartacus.

In 2013 he was a guest soloist of the Tbilisi State Opera and Ballet Theatre. Repertoire includes: Count Albrecht (Giselle), Escamillo (Carmen Suite), Armen (Gayaneh), Basilio (Don Quixote), Vardan (Vardananq), Spartacus (Spartacus), the Prince (The Nutcracker), Romeo (Romeo and Juliet), Tango, Chopiniana, Serenade and Petite Mort.
