Born in Leningrad.
Graduated from the Leningrad School of Dance in 1947 (class of Agrippina Vaganova).
From 1947-1973 she was a lead performer of the ballet repertoire at the Leningrad Kirov Theatre of Opera and Ballet. Moiseyeva was the first performer of roles including Mekhmeneh Bahnu (The Legend of Love), Gertrude (Hamlet), Caroline (The SS Rossia Has Entered Port), Bianca (Othello) and the Mother (Choreographic Miniatures). Repertoire also included: Giselle (Giselle), Odette-Odile (Swan Lake), Nikia (La Bayadère), Raymonda (Raymonda), Kitri (Don Quixote), Laurencia (Laurencia), Zarema (The Fountain of Bakhchisarai), Aegina (Spartacus), Gayaneh (Gayaneh), Krivlyaka (Cinderella) and Elzevira (The Bedbug).
Has appeared in the TV films Olga Moiseyeva Dances and Choreographic Miniatures.
Has taught in Edinburgh (1990) and Berlin (1991).
Has worked as a ballet mistress and coach since 1972. Her pupils include Galina Mezentseva, Altynai Asylmuratova, Yulia Makhalina, Irma Nioradze, Irina Zhelonkina, Tatiana Amosova and Svetlana Zakharova, Olesya Novikova.
She died on 20 September 2019.
She died on 24 June 2021.
