New Mariinsky Opera Company soloist Khachatur Badalyan “has an enchanting timbre and excellent ‘natural’ technique” and critics have described his voice as “pure silver” and “powerful, pliant and with weighty upper notes.”
The promising Khachatur Badalyan’s next performance at the Mariinsky Theatre will be as Pinkerton in Giacomo Puccini’s opera Madama Butterfly on 1 March.
