Denis Begansky

One vocally dramatic flash in the performance came with the scene at the inn on the Lithuanian border with Varlaam the monk performed by Denis Begansky, a soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers. He succeeded in portraying just what elemental power lies hidden within a semi-literate people as soon as some extreme situation arises.
