Born in Nizhnevartovsk. In7nbsp;2005 he graduated from the Prokofiev Academy of Music in Donetsk (class of Professor Gennady Kalikin, People’s Artist of Ukraine).
From 2002 to 2007 he was a soloist at the Solovyanenko Opera and Ballet Theatre in Donetsk, where he performed as Robert (Iolanta), Bogdan Khmelnitsky (Bogdan Khmelnitsky), Figaro (Il barbiere di Siviglia), Belcore (L’elisir d’amore), Marullo (Rigoletto), Germont, Baron Duphol (La traviata), Ford (Falstaff), Silvio (I pagliacci), Prince Yamadori (Madama Butterfly), Dancaïre (Carmen), Papageno (Die Zauberflöte), Sultan (A Zaporozhian Cossack Beyond the Danube) and Slook (La cambiale di matrimonio).
Soloist with the Mariinsky Academy of Young Singers since 2007.

He was the first performer of the role of Chertokutsky (The Carriage), staged as part of a music festival commemorating two centuries since the birth of Nikolai Vasilievich Gogol (2009).
He was invited to take part in festival Larisa Gergieva invites in Vladikavkaz to perform as Germont (La traviata), Robert and Ibn-Hakia (Iolanta), Lescaut (Manon Lescaut), Escamillo (Carmen).
Viktor Korotich took part in concerts of the Academy of Young Singers. He has toured with the Mariinsky Opera Company to Spain, Germany and Switzerland as well as appearing at the Moscow Easter Festival (2008, 2009).
